Jody is a former Trainer
for M·A·C Cosmetics- M·A·C Artist Training & Development as well as a former member of
it's Colour Team where he participated in the development and testing of new M·A·C products. Jody
started with M·A·C back in the days when Frank Toskan and Frank Angelo were still at the helm. He
also worked with M·A·C International and opened up a large percentage of their Middle Eastern stores as
well as trained the Artists. As a Trainer he primarily covered the Central United States.
Jody has been doing
make-up for many years. His work has been sought after by many big names in the industry. He has practiced his craft on some
of the biggest players in Hollywood from Sandra Bullock, Gena Rowlands, Maria Menounos to Kym Whitley and Billboard's
#1 Dance Artist KristineW. Jody has worked with Cher & Cyndi Lauper on tour and has devoted countless hours to
many Music Videos shown on MTV, VH1 and BET.
Celebrity clients and Models alike have been quoted as saying
that they hadn't been done until done by him. His artistry is so unique because he brings out the natural beauty &
features of the person he is working on and gives them that extra little edge that only he can see.
He has worked
for numerous magazines around the world and his printwork has gone from the Legendary ads of Blackgama Furs, "What Becomes
A Legend Most" to Marlboro & Coors Lite and Vanessa Riley of London. Jody has designed looks that have exploded on
Runways around the world including Alberta Ferretti, Christian Dior, Roberto Cavalli, Oscar De La Renta, Jessica McClintok,
Randolph Duke, DSquared2, Carolina Herrera, Haya Al Houti, Kimora Lee Simmons, Nicole Miller, Dolce Gabbana, Issey Miyaki,
Ralph Lauren, Versace, Vera Wang and many more.
He has worked on many feature films like, "Hope Floats",
"Powder", "Interview with the Vampire", "Reality Bites" and "Robocop 2".
His work has been featured on the small screen as well. He was a featured makeup artist with Lifetime Television
on their award winning series "Intimate Portrait" and "Aging with Grace" on PBS with Destiny's Child
to name a few.
Jody has created looks as well as worked on many Theatre Shows around the U.S. He has
also been asked to lend his art to the looks of many U.S. Politicians and Television News Personalities like ABC Nightline
Anchor Cynthia McFadden.
Jody now works independently and with a few agencies and is based
in Houston, Texas.
